anti child labour day

Trivandrum Don Bosco together with the Labour Department observed Anti- Child Labour Day at Govt. HS, Sreekaryam, Vidyasadan ICSE School, Marianad, Vettuthura and Govt. HS, Kamaleswaram. District Labour Officer Shri. KG Valsala Kumar inaugurated the function and ALOs, School Proncipals, teachers and students took part in the observance.  Anti Child Labour Day messages were given by the Labour Officers and CHILDLINE Director, Fr. Thomas Pd. Mr. Manuel George, Mr. Emmanuel Silas lead the awareness classes. Awareness materials and time table cards were  distributed to children with anti child labour day messages.  All children took pledge against child labour and promised to help eradicate child labour. There was also awareness cum announcement conducted at short film festival venue at Kairali Theatre, Trivandrum and Trivandrum Central Bus station.
